Alaska's Log Cabin Resort & RV Park . . .
"Your Alaskan Hunting Headquarters!"
Bear
Hunting
Wolf Hunting
Sitka Black Tailed Deer Hunting
Hunt
the Prince of Wales Island, but let us help you get off the beat-
en track and avoid other hunters and the run of the mill size bear. The
Prince offers some of the best Black Bear Hunting in the world. In last
spring's issue of the American Hunter, our island was chosen one of the
top places on Earth to hunt black bear. The unique thing about hunting
here is you will not run into an Alaskan brownie. A common caliber rifle,
appropriate for the task would be the 270 or 30-06. Quality bullets such
as Nosler or Barnes will help with your killing shot. Alaska Black Bear
Hunts have become very popular since a guide is not required May and September
are the main months that book up.
